Mailchimp is a popular email newsletter tool. To ensure emails get delivered to your subscribers, you should set up email domain authentication.
After you've created your email address, follow these steps:
8. Follow the instructions for creating new CNAME records. Copy the values for your new records and paste them into the appropriate fields for your domain. These values will be customized for your domain and the service you are using.
You will copy the Name from the Mailchimp settings into the Fully Qualified Domain Name field in the MayFirst control panel.
Then copy the Value from the Mailchimp settings into the Server Name field in the Mayfirst control panel.
DMARC is already set up for your email address so you can skip the DMARC step Mailchimp lists and click Next.
That's all you'll need to do. Wait for Mailchimp to confirm the information. It can take up to 48 hours for some domains to update. You will receive an email form Mailchimp stating that your email address is authenticated. Great work!
When authentication is successful, you'll see the Authenticated label next to the domain on the Domains page in your account.
