This how-to explains how to add a second domain to an existing web site or for use with existing email addresses.
If you are interested in adding a completely new web site, then please refer to How to create a new hosting order.
This guide is for the new infrastructure!

In this guide, we will assume your existing domain name is example.org. After launching your site, you realize that you would also like to use the domain example.net.
Only follow these directions if your new domain name will be used for directing people to your web site.
Following the guide on adding DNS records, add two "ALIAS" records:
example.com
- Server name: b.webproxy.mayfirst.org
www.example.com
- server name: b.webproxy.mayfirst.org
Only follow these directions if your new domain name will be used for email delivery.
Following the guide on adding DNS records, add three "MX" records:
example.com
- server name: a.mx.mayfirst.org
- Distance: 10
example.com
- server name: b.mx.mayfirst.org
- Distance: 20
example.com
- server name: c.mx.mayfirst.org
- Distance: 30
In addition, you should add an SPF record and add a DKIM record.
At this point, our servers are fully configured to handle your domain name.
However, the Internet may not yet be sending your domain name traffic to our servers.
The final (and critical step) is to configure your new domain to use May First name servers.
