Nextcloud is an open source file sync and share software made for use by both individuals and organizations of all sizes. It provides functionality similar to Dropbox, Office 365 or Google Drive. Our own instance of Nextcloud is a private and secure solution for May First members that we control and safeguard on our own servers.
May First members have access to our shared Nextcloud server at https://share.mayfirst.org/.

The Nextcloud server's functionality and features depend on a group of core apps and can be extended. In Mayfirst we have pre installed apps for your personal or collective use, you are going to see them like this:

Start learning what they are and how they can support your work, from cloud management (file sharing), text editing (markdown or only office), tasks, contact management and more.

Using the Nextcloud Desktop Sync Client, Android app, or iOS app you can sync files, calendars, contacts and other data to and from the server and to other devices. Also, installing a Free and open-source Software app will help you to keep your contacts, calendar and more updated. Of course it helps your individual digital life, but… do you know how these tools can improve your collective work?
