May First shared hosting supports many, but not all, web applications. Be sure to carefully read the requirements and contact support if you are not sure.

Remember: Sometimes an application provides a docker or .deb installation method, but there may be other ways to install it as well.
If you are unable to run your application via our shared hosting servers, contact us to learn about running your own virtual private server.
May First's goal with shared hosting is to provide an easily maintained, consistent and secure environment for our members to host the most common web application used by movement activists and organizers. To achieve this goal we have to make hard decisions about what software to install (and keep up to date and secure). If we add specialized or un-common software to our web servers, it creates both a maintenance burden and a security risk.
